GreenEdTech Sprint in Krakow Marks Major Milestone Toward AI-Powered Learning
A Platform That’s Working – and Growing
Last week’s design sprint in Krakow confirmed what months of classroom interventions have already made clear: the GreenEdTech platform – GetGreen – is working.
Not only is the platform delivering strong results in real-world classrooms, most recently at Kokkedal School in collaboration with COWI, but it’s also on track and on time across all development parameters.
The sprint brought together key partners from Aalborg University, CFU, VIA, and Exfluency to align on next steps and explore the final phase of development: AI integration through SkoleGPT.

GreenEdTech is an initiative aimed at integrating Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) into Danish schools (grades 7.-10.) through a digital learning platform running on secure GenAI and blockchain technology.
Funded by Innovationsfonden and led by Aalborg University, this project seeks to address the urgent need for sustainable education.
Smarter Classrooms With SkoleGPT
A major focus of the sprint was the integration of AI into the GetGreen platform. On-site work demonstrated that the SkoleGPT functionality – which will allow students to engage directly with a generative AI assistant – is both intuitive and lightweight in terms of development resources.
Early feedback suggests that the new AI features will significantly enhance the platform’s usability, without overwhelming educators or learners.

From Successful Pilots to National Reach
Pilot implementations across Denmark have yielded highly encouraging feedback. Teachers and external evaluators report that the platform supports both student engagement and sustainability learning in meaningful ways.
As a result, multiple stakeholders are now exploring how the platform can be rolled out to a broader number of schools in the coming academic year. While timelines and specifics are still in development, the interest is there, and momentum is building.
A New Digital Home
One of the major outcomes of the Krakow sprint was finalising the design and planning of the project’s new dedicated landing page. Developed in close collaboration between AAU and Exfluency, the site is set to launch in the coming weeks and will serve as the central hub for news, resources, and partner engagement.
From concept to classroom, the GreenEdTech platform is proving its value. With AI features nearly in place and broad school interest underway, GetGreen is maturing from project to scalable product – and it’s only just getting started.
